After breakfast, we departure to visit Kulen Mountain or Phnom Kulen is declared as a National Park. After transfer 50 KM from Siem Reap Center, you will come to one of the most sacred mountain in Siem Reap. It is also home to impressive a thousand lingas, waterfalls and jungles
This is widely regarded as the birthplace of the ancient Khmer Empire, and also the place that King Jayavarman II proclaimed independence from Java in 9th-Century.
During the constructional period of the ancient temples in the Nine century, sand stones were brought from this sacred mountain to Angkor.
Upon arrival at the top of the mountain, you will visit One thousand Linga River where you'll see some images of gods and countless Shiva Lingas carved on the riverbed, then walk up to see the huge reclining Buddha carved at the height of a big rock. Finally, we walk down and go to see the most beautiful waterfall where you can enjoy bathing and have Khmer Authentic lunch near the waterfall. Relaxing until drive down and go back to hotel.
