A photo stop will be made at Wat Phra Keo, before moving on to the Patuxai monument - also called Anousavari. Next you will go to climb the Arc De Triomphe of Laos, Patuxai for fantastic panoramic views. Continue on to That Luang, the holiest place in Laos, and Wat Si Muang, the most popular and venerated temple in Vientiane. You can also visit Talat Sao, the morning market, for a bit of souvenir buying (silk and silver jewelry are good bets) and an insight into daily life for the people of Vientiane.

Complete your morning with a visit to the excellent COPE exhibition center, highlighting the Lao people's continued day-to-day struggle with the unexploded ordnance as a result of heavy bombing campaigns during the Vietnam War era.

You are recommended to get up early, around 5.30 to 6.30am to visit Vat Nong temple. Here, you will witness The Tak Bat ceremony ("TAK BAT" means giving alms to monks). In this ceremony, from the early morning Thai people go to the temple and bring food with them. They are filling monks’ bowl with food such as rice, soft drinks, cakes and so on… This ceremony happens in peaceful and respectful atmosphere. That’s why we recommend that you should wear decent clothing when watching the rituals or if you want to save this moment, you should take photos from a distance to show your respect.

After having a breakfast, you will visit the Royal Palace, next is Vat Xieng Thong or Temple of the Royal City. Your next visit will be Wat Visoun – an unusual structure which represents the earliest Lao style.

Afterwards, you will be transfer to Khuangsy Waterfall- the biggest in the Luang Prabang area.

This is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Luang Prabang area with breathtaking cascades of water.

On the way to Khuangsy Waterfall, you will stop to visit some of the villages- where the older female villagers still dress in traditional costume. Then you will have a picnic lunch at the waterfall. If you want to swim, it is a great place because the waterfall scatters into many basins with deliciously cold water due to the shade given by the surrounding lush tropical jungle. You will return to Luang Prabang in the afternoon.

Then go to Phou Sy Mount where you also can have a nice panorama of the city.

Return to your hotel and free at your leisure.
