On arrival in Vientiane, you will be welcomed by Asia Paradise Travel tour guide and get transferred to hotel in Vientiane – the country’s charming capital, with its laidback riverside ambience, and alluring monuments.

Breakfast at the hotel then your morning is dedicated to seeing the capital. First up is a visit to Wat Sisaket, the only temple to be left intact after the Siamese invasion in 1828.

A photo stop will be made at Wat Phra Keo, before moving on to the Patuxai monument - also called Anousavari. Next you will go to climb the Arc De Triomphe of Laos, Patuxai for fantastic panoramic views. Continue on to That Luang, the holiest place in Laos, and Wat Simuang, the most popular and venerated temple in Vientiane. You can also visit Talat Sao, the morning market, for a bit of souvenir buying (silk and silver jewellery are good bets) and an insight into daily life for the people of Vientiane.

Complete your morning with a visit to the excellent COPE exhibition center, highlighting the Lao people's continued day-to-day struggle with the unexploded ordnance as a result of heavy bombing campaigns during the Vietnam War era.

Afternoon transfer to Vang Vieng, check in the hotel and free on your own.

Start your full day biking tour with the exploration of one of the most unusual caves in the area: Tham Phoukham, the highly auspicious and venerated "Cave of the Golden Crab".

This is one of the most important caves of Vang Vieng. It is situated on the Southern side of Vang Vieng. From the foot of the cave crystal clear water runs out of the mountain into the river, also from here you can see beautiful views of the village and rice fields.

Continuing westwards, the trail gets increasingly rough. Following the narrow valley of the Houay San stream until the Pha Deng, namely "red cliff", comes into sight to your right. Depending on the season, the bikes have to be carried across short distances (muddy patches).

After admire charming sight of the cave, transfer to your hotel for sunset drink by the river marks the end of a great cycling adventure.

After breakfast, you will drive from Vang Vieng to Luang Prabang, passing through Laos’ pristine countryside. This is long drive (approximately 6 hours) with spectacular view of Lao rain forest and the mountain ranges. Short break in Kasi for your photo opportunities and visit various hill tribe villages. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel for check in.

After breakfast at the hotel, our guide and driver will come to pick you up and continue to explore Luang Prabang with the city’s oldest temples of Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong. With Wat Sene Souk Haram, this is one of the most beautiful temples in Luang Prabang, singular by its restored painting of a deep ochre colour, flamboyant and glittering with gold.

Wat Xieng thong is a magnificent piece of architecture and also important of Lao monasteries and remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion. It’s also located at the meeting of Nam Khan and Mekong River.

Continue driving to the beautiful Khuangsi Waterfall where you can splash around in the pools or walk along the forest paths, return to Luang Prabang at and rest of the time at leisure.

Start your day with a nice drive passing picturesque scenery along the Nam Ou River - Laos’s longest inland river. Following lunch, we will take the boat cruise to Luang Prabang before the sunset with a stop at the confluence of the Nam Ou and Mekong Rivers to visit the Pak Ou Caves.

Later today, crossing the river to the car then you will be transfer to Nong Khaiw.

You are free the rest of the day. Dinner on your own. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast, your will be transferred to Muang Ngoi by local Boat.

Leave Ngoi Kao by foot and hike to Tam Gang, which are situated about 30 minutes from the village.

After the caves, the trail continues for 1.5 hours through fields and towering limestone cliffs before arriving at Ban Houay Sens. Take a short break with refreshments in the village rest house before continuing to Ban Kew Khan on a 3-4 hour climb through primary forest with beautiful views of the limestone peaks.

Ban Kew Khan is a friendly Khmu village, where visitors can watch baskets being made, take photos of the traditional Khmu homes, and bathe in the natural spring. After eating a locally-prepared meal and participating in talking history and daily of the local people there a Baci Ceremony as Khmu they don’t have this ceremony, trekkers overnight in the two community family house, constructed in the Kamu style.

After breakfast, you will trek about three to four hours to Ban Hadsapeuy on the Ou River. From Ban Kew Khan, you will trek up before descending through the forest and fields to arrive at a stream.

The next hour is spent on a shady walk in the river, before emerging to hike a small group of hills to Ban Hadsapeuy or Ban So Chem. Take a break with refreshments including fresh coconut before boarding a local boat for upstream to Muang Khua. Reaching a one-horse border town located on the banks of the Nam Ou River in the late afternoon, you will check in the hotel. Free to relax.

We recommend you to wake up in the early morning for Alms Giving Ceremony. Hundreds of monks will leave their pagodas and make a slow procession through town, starting at 5:45AM and lasting for about an hour. You can easily find them in front of your hotel.

Return to the hotel for breakfast and then start a nice journey to Tay trang Border.

Note: The Border gate immigration office normally closes for lunch between 12.00 - 13.30.
