Moving to Vang Vieng, a riverside town where surrounded by splendid karst scenery and overflowing with activities such as caving and tubing down the river. You will reach the Heritage Town of Luang Prabang to explore the magic Buddha Cave or breathtaking cascades of Khuang Si waterfall also Temple sites.

On arrival in Vientiane, you will be welcomed by Asia Paradise Travel tour guide and get transferred to hotel in Vientiane – the country’s charming capital, with its laidback riverside ambience, and alluring monuments.

Your morning is dedicated to seeing the capital. First up is a visit to Wat Sisaket, the only temple to be left intact after the Siamese invasion in 1828. This is one of the most beautiful temple in Vientiane and houses thousands of miniature Buddha statues within its walls.

A photo stop will be made at Wat Phra Keo, before moving on to the Patuxai monument - also called Anousavari. Next you will go to climb the Arc De Triomphe of Laos, Patuxai for fantastic panoramic views. Continue on to That Luang, the holiest place in Laos, and Wat Si Muang, the most popular and venerated temple in Vientiane. You can also visit Talat Sao, the morning market, for a bit of souvenir buying (silk and silver jewelry are good bets) and an insight into daily life for the people of Vientiane.

Complete your morning with a visit to the excellent COPE exhibition center, highlighting the Lao people's continued day-to-day struggle with the unexploded ordnance as a result of heavy bombing campaigns during the Vietnam War era.

Lunch will be on your own and afternoon we will drive 25km out of the city to visit the famous Buddha Park. It is home for over 200 statues of Buddha and characters of Hinduism made by concrete, especially the enormous Buddhist statue which is 40m in length propping its arm. Furthermore, there are many other statues in shapes of human, Godheads, animals and Lucifer.

Return to your hotel and relax.

In this morning, you will be transfered by private vehicle to Vang Vieng through Nam Ngum Reservoir- a hydroelectric dam on the Nam Ngum River, located about 80 kilometres to the north of Vientiane. En-route, you will make a stop at a local market to discover daily life of the locals. You visit Ban Keune to have a look at a rustic iodized Salt Factory.

After 2,5 hours’ drive from Vientiane, you will arrive at Nam Ngum lake- a vast, spectacular lake which enhances the beautiful scenery and green valley of the Nam Ngum River. Then, you will take a nice boat for your cruise and enjoy your lunch on board.

After your lunch, continue your tour by road to Vang Vieng- a riverside town in Central Laos. It is surrounded by splendid karst scenery and overflowing with activities such as caving and tubing down the river. When arriving at Vang Vieng, check in to your hotel. Then, stroll around the town to relax and stop at a local beer station to enjoy Beer Laos. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

This morning, after your breakfast, you will start your trip by taking a boat to Nam Song River. It is a popular tourist destination because many people enjoy seeing the Laotian countryside while going down the river in the inner tube or in a kayak. After enjoying enchanting view of the river, transfer back by private vehicle.

After that, you will take a road to Luang Prabang for 6 hour drive. En-route, you could see peaceful atmosphere of beautiful local villages. After arriving at Luang Prabang-the world heritage site, you will check in to your hotel and spend the rest of day to relax or explore the city on your own. Meals on your own and overnight at the hotel in Luang Prabang.

This morning, you continue to explore LuangPrabang with the city’s oldest temples of Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong. Wat Sene Souk Haram or literally "Temple of a 100 000 treasures" is one of the most beautiful temples in LuangPrabang, singular by its restored painting of a deep ochre colour, flamboyant and glittering with gold.

Wat Xieng thong is a magnificent piece of architecture and also important of Lao monasteries and remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion. It’s also located at the meeting of Nam Khan and Mekong River.

Later today, driver to the Pier and take a cruise along the Mekong about two hours upstream from the centre of Luang Prabang, and discover the numerous Buddha images at Pak Ou Caves. On return, visit the traditional rice alcohol village.

Afterwards, walk around Ban Pak Ou Village, a small Laotian fishermen’s village on the Mekong River, and continue to Ban Muang Keo village, where you can learn about Traditional Lao textiles and easy find a Local handcraft gift. Return to Luang Prabang by boat.

You are recommended to get up early, around 5.30 to 6.30am to visit Vat Nong temple. Here, you will witness The Tak Bat ceremony ("TAK BAT" means giving alms to monks). In this ceremony, from the early morning Thai people go to the temple and bring food with them. They are filling monks’ bowl with food such as rice, soft drinks, cakes and so on… This ceremony happens in peaceful and respectful atmosphere. That’s why we recommend that you should wear decent clothing when watching the rituals or if you want to save this moment, you should take photos from a distance to show your respect.

 

After breakfast, our guide and driver will come to pick you up and start to visit the National Museum, once a king’s palace. A lovely collection of personal artifacts of the family as musical instruments, photos and gifts were displayed inside, also from the dignitaries of foreign countries

Leave the town to visit the Hill Tribe villages of Hmong and Kamu people.

Continue driving to the beautiful Khuangsi Waterfall where you can splash around in the pools or walk along the forest paths, return to Luang Prabang at and rest of the time at leisure
