Breakfast at your hotel then you continue to explore Luang Prabang with the city’s oldest temples of Wat Sene and WatXieng Thong.
With Wat Sene Souk Haram, this is one of the most beautiful temples in Luang Prabang, singular by its restored painting of a deep ochre colour, flamboyant and glittering with gold.
Wat Xieng thong is a magnificent piece of architecture and also important of Lao monasteries and remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion. It’s also located at the meeting of Nam Khan and Mekong River.
The temple structures are decorated in various ways with gilded stuccoes as well as doorways and the main slim has a marvelous 'tree life' mosaic pattern on an outer wall.
Later today, driver to the Pier and take a cruise along the Mekong about two hours upstream from the center of Luang Prabang, and discover the numerous Buddha images at Pak Ou Caves. On return, visit the traditional rice alcohol village.
Afterwards, walk around Ban Pak Ou Village, a small Laotian fishermen’s village on the Mekong River, and continue to Ban MuangKeo village, where you can learn about Traditional Lao textiles and easy find a Local handcraft gift. Return to LuangPrabang by boat.
