Mingalabar and welcome to Myanmar! Upon arrival at the airport you will be warmly welcomed by your guide who will take you to your hotel for check in (note: check in time is 14.00. Early check in is subject to availability).

We’ll start things off in the afternoon with a trip to Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda to see a 70 meter long reclining Buddha statue around the size of a blue whale. Next, you continue uptown, a short break at the Royal Lake located in Kandawgyi Park which is very popular with local residents, especially in the early morning and around sunset. This is a wonderful place to take a view of Karaweik Hall, a reproduction of a royal barge and enjoy a spectacular view of the Golden Shwedagon Pagoda.

Travelling to Myanmar without visit the legendary Shwedagon Pagoda, it’s mean you did not step into the golden land in Yangon yet. Are you ready for an amazing experience?

Let start to enjoy and experience all the places are worth the trip. Start your visit from the eastern entrance to find a row of shops at the base of the temple selling various religious items. From here you will easy find many unique Buddhist objects as monk robe, alms bowls, offering and incense…

Next, you will keep walking up the stairs to the main part. The most impressive of the colors transform on the 100-meter Buddhist stupa which is literally enclosed in over 40 tons of gold leaf. Every year, Shwedagon attracts a lot of customer and it is considered to be the most important religious site. Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.

Breakfast at your hotel then you will be transferred to the airport for the domestic flight to Bagan. On arrival, our local tour guide and driver will welcome you and transfer to the Town; this is to be one of the greatest architectural sites in Asia. Bagan was the central of Myanmar from the 11th to 13th centuries the monarchs built multitudes of massive stupas and pagodas, scores of which are still present on the shores of the Irrawaddy River.

Located on the eastern bank of Ayeyarwady River, the Old town nested with more than 2000 Buddhist monuments tower over the green plains.

Around the Old town, you will have chance to see the splendid Bagan temples, this excursion also introduces you to the Burmese culture, as traditional craftsmen at work , the trip will continue on the mighty Irrawaddy River to a decidedly unusual ‘cave’ temple!

One of the most exalted of Bagan’s temples is the Ananda Temple. We will ensure that our tour reaches this point before the majority of tourist arrive, enabling you to enjoy the splendor of the temple in relative tranquility.

Your trip will continue amid the temples dotted around the plains to experience a variety of architectural styles in the area as well as the artistic wonder of the 9-14th centuries. The Rural life of Bagan seems very simple and quiet working amongst the monuments.

Today will be ended with a visit to workshops producing Bagan’s most famous lacquer ware and wood crafts where you would learn about the local culture.

OPTIONAL: HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE OVER BAGAN - (Only available from October through March)

Breakfast at your hotel then our local guide and driver will pick you up and start to visit Bagan. Begin your excursion with NyaungOo Market, where the local people come to trade the fresh produce and others goods every day. The next will be Shwezigon Pagoda, one of the constructions from King Anawrahta during the 11th century as a religious memorial.

Your trip will continue over the dusty lanes, also through many temples and monasteries before reaching a small village, trolling around to explore the local daily life, a short walk can be arranged through a series of smaller monuments which allows for a unique perspective of Bagan.

Later today, experience your by horse cart for an excursion that passes Thatbyinnyu, the tallest temple in Bagan, gigantic Dhammayangyi Temple noted for its remarkable brickwork, and of course, Sulamani Temple.

Take pleasure in an extraordinary sunset from the upper terrace of one of the surrounding temples.

After breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the airport for your short domestic flight to Heho, on arrival our guide will pick you up and drive to Nyaungshwe.

Experience a lovely scenic one-hour drive (32km – 1 hour) and also have an opportunity to visit rural workshops that specialize in traditional Shan paper and unique handcrafted umbrellas.

Upon reaching the edge of the lake, then you will board a private motorboat and begin heading out onto Inle Lake, one of Myanmar’s most spectacular and breathtaking sights.

Inle Lake is dotted with floating vegetation and fishing canoes, the scenic hills provide the perfect backdrop.

Today, you also pass several villages, which are built on stilts over the water from Intha people.

Experiences the daily activities of the local leg-rowing fishermen and you are also view their ‘floating gardens’…

One of the highlights to day is a visit NgaHpeChaung Monastery, which houses loads of early Shan Buddha Images. Few years ago, this temple was known as “jumping cat”, now is not anymore but the Buddha images are still worth to visit.

Your next will be PhaungDawOo Pagoda; this is main haven of Buddha images which decorated in gold leaf.

Taking a short break to visit the traditional crafts, you will explore the making incredible woven items from lotus silk, or Cigar making workshop, Boat Builders, even silver smiths.

Return to the hotel and relax the rest of your day.

Breakfast at your hotel and then visit the lake’s morning market (the market is open every day apart from dark moon and full moon calendar days) which located rotates between the villages on the lake in a 5 day schedule. It’s also visited daily by the lake’s inhabitants as well as the surrounding natives who also come to sell and trade their wares.

After one hour transfer by boat through the small canal, you will be taken to the Pa-Oh village of Indein

A 1-hour boat ride down a small canal will take you to the Pa-Oh village of Indein, nested on the western shores of Inle Lake.

Take a walk around the village before ascending a rural road to the top of a hill.

The Indein Pagoda complex is undoubtedly one of the most amazing sites around the shore of the lake and it consists of hundreds of small stupas which are overrun by moss and greenery.  On returning, a short break at the Inthar Heritage House to learn more about the history and culture of the lake's indigenous people and enjoy a delicious coffee and cake (snack break not included).

Breakfast will be served at your hotel before driving to the Heho Airport (1-1.5 hour) for a short flight back to Yangon. Upon arrival at Yangon airport move to the International Airport for your international connection. (no guide, no car in Yangon)
