You will be welcomed by Asia Paradise Travel tour guide and transferred to Luang Namtha - a capital of the province of the same name, is particularly quiet and relaxing, and generally represents an essential stop for those wishing to discover the natural wealth of the region of northwestern Laos.

Area Muang Namtha present some points of interest: the museum of Luang Namtha, containing articles and a local section devoted to the revolution, the night market, great place to sample local food, and above all minorities and traditional villages just outside of downtown.

In addition, the city of Luang Namtha has a very interesting stupa, the That Phum Puk, perched on a hill surrounded by rice fields, and a waterfall, accessible from the village Nam Sun where you can see papermaking in bamboo. The region is famous for its huge evergreen forests, an ideal place for practicing ecotourism.

After breakfast, you will be transferred by Tuk-Tuk, is roughly half an hour ride to Doiluckkam, where a local Kamu guide will join you on your journey. Your first day’s pace is moderate though the Nam Ha NPA where the guide will share some of his knowledge of edible and medicinal plants. The next, you will be hiking uphill to see several massive old trees, many types of bamboo and diverse forest plants. If you lucky and travel quietly you may see some monkeys, wild goats and wild pigs. Our Kamu man will prepare the traditional picnic lunch. After lunch the trek continues down from the mountain to your jungle camp, which we should reach by 4:30 pm. Besides resting, you are free to go fishing for dinner with your Kamu guide, stroll around the camp or opt for a refreshing swim in the Nam Ha River close to your camp.

Wake up in the early morning you are likely to hear many kinds of animals communicating with one another, such as: bears, monkeys, barking deer, gibbons, wild pigs, and jungle fowl from the higher mountain tops. In the early risers you are free to take a walk around the camp. Please ask your guide about hill tribes cultures if you are not sure any anything. After breakfast, prepared by our guide, you’ll cross the Nam Ha River and walk through fields, next you’ll get to visit Ban Nalan, where your will learn about Kamu lifestyle, culture, and traditions.  Then there is a hike uphill through forest. Your local lunch will be prepared en route on the forest path. Later then, you will have two-hour hike down the mountain slope, reaching at the Ban Chalernsouk, where our driver will be waiting for you and transfer you back to Luang Namtha.

Breakfast at the hotel and leave Oudomxay early in the morning to Muang Khua.

Embark on a traditional long tail boat along Nam Ou river to Muong Ngoi - a gorgeous and sleepy town- one of the friendliest places in Laos. After arriving at Muong Ngoi, you will transfer to the guest house.

Muong Ngoy is an hour’s drive north of Nong Khiaw.

In this morning, you will meet our guide at 8h30 to get to the hiking point by a boat. Then, take a trek through the rain forest. After nearly 3 hours, you will have leisure time to visit weaving village by boat. Here, you have chance to learn about weaving techniques, observe skillful hands of artisan as well as unique weaved products. After that, you will wander around the village to see thatched roof, Bamboo houses - a popular house in this area to know more about living condition of the villagers.

Return to the Pier in the afternoon and we cruise to Nong Khiaw. The local people used this cave as a war shelter during the 'Secret War' to shelter people from bombs dropped in the region. It is about 30 minutes' walk from Nong Khiaw town and follows beautiful scenery and great vistas in the surrounding tropical mountains. You will learn more about a secret part of the Lao history and explore the historical caves with your guide. From the cave you will have a beautiful view of rice paddies and the surrounding valley. Enjoy the sunset over the river.

Start your day with a nice drive passing picturesque scenery along the Nam Ou River - Laos’s longest inland river. Following lunch, we will take the boat cruise to Luang Prabang before the sunset with a stop at the confluence of the Nam Ou and Mekong Rivers to visit the Caves. After the cave, you also visit the traditional rice alcohol village.

Afterwards, walk around Ban Pak Ou Village, a small Laotian fishermen’s village on the Mekong River, and continue to Ban Muang Keo village, where you can learn about Traditional Lao textiles and easy find a Local handcraft gift. Return to Luang Prabang by boat.

After breakfast at the hotel, our guide and driver will come to pick you up and continue to explore Luang Prabang with the city’s oldest temples of Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong. With Wat Sene Souk Haram, this is one of the most beautiful temples in Luang Prabang, singular by its restored painting of a deep ochre colour, flamboyant and glittering with gold.

Wat Xieng thong is a magnificent piece of architecture and also important of Lao monasteries and remains a significant monument to the spirit of religion. It’s also located at the meeting of Nam Khan and Mekong River.

Continue driving to the beautiful Khuangsi Waterfall where you can splash around in the pools or walk along the forest paths, return to Luang Prabang at and rest of the time at leisure.
