After breakfast, our guide and driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and we will drive to Cai Be. Your tour will start with the visit of Cai Be’s colorful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables. Next will be a stop can be made at local workshops where you can see how rice paste, coconut candy, and pop-rice pop-corn is made.
You also visit the handicraft village where you can see how they make rice-net for spring-rolls, fish sauce and Soya sauce, cooking salt, sewing coconut-leaves for cottage proof.
On arrival in ancient house over one hundred seventy years old, a delicious lunch will be served under the shade of local orchards on An Binh Island
Your next activity is a traditional rowboat will take you deeper into the countryside on small canals to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Experience the traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and the activities of the local farmers to see how they catch fish or pick up fruits using the ancient customs of the Mekong Delta.
Another visit can be at a nursery garden where you will discover how the growers of the Mekong Delta produce their world famous fruits and vegetables. You will have change to enjoy different type’s fruit from the garden and homemade rice wine while listening to traditional music
The Boat will end at around 3.30 PM in Vinh Long town. Then we will drive back to Saigon.
